Today was a great day in Sayville! Spring has arrived!!! Mini Spring Fest safely bought people to Main Street today to shop and support local! From our Main Street stores hosting sidewalk sales to free giveaways and raffles from our professional chamber members! The day’s events also included music from Jack Licitra, owner of South Bay Arts and his incredible students! Also a Spring Bonnet contest with 1st Place winner Jackson Finch! The Easter Bunny (aka President Eileen Tyznar) entertained hundreds of kids with fun dancing moves! A huge thank you to the newly formed organization, Greater Sayville Junior Civic. These students did an outstanding job volunteering, lending over 25 youth! A huge thank you to Chris Olsen as co-chair and all the other volunteers from the Greater Sayville Civic Association Inc and the Sayville Chamber and community members! It takes a village…and today showed just that in Sayville!

Sayville Spring Fest — starring the Easter Bunny and the talented young musicians of South Bay Arts — was a huge success on Saturday.
Hundreds of people came to downtown Sayville to shop, eat, listen to the live music and hang out with the Easter Bunny (spoiler alert: Greater Sayville President Eileen Tyznar suited up as the fan favorite).
The Easter Bunny posed for photos in front of Purity Barn on Main Street during the Greater Sayville Chamber of Commerce event. A little west, South Bay Arts owner and music teacher Jack Licitra showed off the skills of his teen, tween and pre-teen students, including recording artist Camryn Quinlan of Sayville.
“It really warmed my heart to see Main Street bustling once again on such a beautiful day,” Tyznar said. “It was evident from the support shown by the community for our small businesses that hope and renewal are alive again in Sayville.”
